iCSD 2026 Abstract Submission Site

We invite researchers and clinicians to begin preparing their latest findings for presentation at iCSD 2026. We are seeking original research, clinical case studies and technical innovations that explore the mechanisms, monitoring and management of Spreading Depolarizations (SD).

  • SD and Ischemia/ Brain Injury
  • SD and Hemorrhagic Stroke
  • SD and other Acute Neurologic Injury
  • SD and Seizures
  • SD and Migraines 
  • SD and emerging connections (e.g. Tumor, Dementia, Rehabilitation) 
  • Novel Technical Approaches for SD monitoring in preclinical and clinical settings

1. Create an account (new users)
2. Navigate to My Submissions, which is located in the drop down menu under your name in the top, right corner of your screen.

If you already have an account, log in using your credentials, then go to My Submissions.

Scientific Abstract Submission Requirements

  • Abstracts may be submitted as poster, oral or both. 
  • Abstracts must be submitted on or before July 17, 2026.
  • Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Abstracts must be 250 words or less. Tables and images may not be included with the abstract submission but will be permitted in the poster presentation.
  • Abstracts should provide an accurate, succinct, and informative representation of the content you plan to present and be relevant to the science, research, treatment.
  • Abstracts must avoid commercial bias and be free of promotion and advertising.
  • Presenting authors of accepted abstracts are required to register and attend the Forum. Register at iCSD 2026
